Entry-Level & Experienced Opportunities

Refine Home Improvement LLC is looking for dependable, motivated individuals to join our residential remodeling crews serving the Oshkosh–Green Bay area.

We specialize in basement, kitchen, and bathroom remodeling, home repairs, and general residential construction. We’re looking for people who take pride in their work, show up ready to work, and want the opportunity to learn and develop their construction skills.

No professional construction experience is required for entry-level applicants. Construction experience is a plus, and compensation will be based on experience and demonstrated ability.

$19–$30 per hour, depending on experience and skill level

• Part-time opportunity
• No weekend work
• Bi-weekly pay
• No overtime
• 1099 independent-contractor arrangement
• Opportunities to develop additional skills and take on more responsibility

Entry-Level

You don’t need years of construction experience to apply. If you’re dependable, willing to learn, physically capable, and have a good attitude, we’ll provide on-the-job training and help you develop your skills.

Experienced

Experienced residential construction workers and remodelers are encouraged to apply. Compensation will reflect your experience, skill level, ability to work independently, and the quality of your work.

Crew members may assist with a variety of residential construction and remodeling tasks, including:

• Demolition and tear-outs
• Framing
• Drywall installation and related work
• Interior painting
• Flooring installation and removal
• General home repairs
• Remodeling assistance
• Loading and unloading materials
• Moving and staging materials throughout the job site
• General construction assistance
• Job-site preparation
• Job-site cleanup
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Assisting experienced crew members with various construction tasks
• Following project instructions and maintaining quality workmanship

The exact duties will vary depending on the project and your experience level.

Applicants must:

• Be dependable and show up on time
• Be willing to learn and take direction
• Be able to lift 50+ pounds
• Be able to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work for extended periods
• Be comfortable working indoors and outdoors
• Be able to safely operate ladders and applicable job-site equipment
• Be able to read a standard tape measure
• Be able to perform basic construction-related math
• Be able to safely use basic hand and power tools
• Maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude on residential job sites

Construction experience is preferred but not required.

Crew members are required to have appropriate PPE, including:

• Hard hat
• Steel-toe work boots
• Safety glasses

Refine Home Improvement LLC can provide or make available certain job-site items when needed, including:

• Hi-vis vest or shirt
• Tool belt
• Hammer
• Speed square
• Tape measure
• Utility knife
• Work gloves

You do not need to own a complete set of construction tools to apply.

• On-the-job training
• Work shirts
• Construction tools as needed
• Transportation assistance may be available when necessary

No alcohol, illegal drugs, or working while impaired will be permitted on any job site or while performing work for Refine Home Improvement LLC.

All crew members are expected to report to work fit for duty and capable of safely performing their assigned responsibilities.

Our projects are primarily located throughout the Oshkosh to Green Bay area, with assignments varying by project.
